Target
The tool is designed for two types of adult users: Action Creators - a Fund4ACT user who represents a community group and/or organisation that wishes to advertise a fundable heritage action on the Fund4ACT Platform. Action Pledgers - a Fund4ACT user who wishes to pledge towards a heritage action advertised on the Fund4ACT Platform.
Resources needed
Fund4ACT is a browser based software and functions best in computer format. Prior to uploading a heritage action users should have some background information on the proposed action. The upload process of the action questions the user on the heritage action type and provides some best practice guidance to support in the successful delivery of the heritage action.
Time needed
To create a new Action on Fund4ACT please allow for around 20-30 minutes (including initial sign up and a manual verification process). The platform's inclusive design will prompt the user on the required documentation to successfully complete a "verified" action. To pledge to a Fund4ACT please allow for 5 - 7 minutes (including initial sign up).
People needed
To complete the Fund4ACT process as a successful Action Creator would require to be a community group and/or organisation with a constitution and a bank account. To be a successful Action Pledger whether as an individual or business you would require to be able to electronic transfer any pledged funds via Fund4ACT.
Skills needed
Prior to uploading a heritage action on Fund4ACT the community group and/or organisation will need become verified through providing the Fund4ACT moderator (ACT) through providing a constitiution, confirmation of a bank account as well as their own unique verification code. Follow this being approved the user can then begin upload their heritage action through following the clear, video supported, steps.
Impact
Fund4ACT aligns particularly SDG 17 on partnerships for sustainable development. Fund4ACT enables users to conduct a New European Bauhaus Compass assessment of their proposed heritage action. By showcasing both organisational competence and action impact, the aim is to make proposed heritage initiatives more attractive to potential funders, such as local individuals and SMEs, thereby providing financial support as a catalyst for the success of HeritACT events and projects, fostering a dynamic ecosystem of community-driven actions.
